Loch Duart launch culinary competition targeting top US chefs

Partnership with Chef’s Roll gives winners an all-expenses-paid trip and VIP tour of Loch Duart’s farm in the Scottish Highlands

Loch Duart Salmon has partnered with Chef’s Roll, a global, online culinary community and platform, to challenge top US chefs to create a winning signature dish to showcase the superior flavour and versatility of Loch Duart Salmon.

In a tour that’s taken them from New York to Los Angeles the Loch Duart Salmon team met some amazing, talented chefs and visited some of the top restaurants, where their salmon was prepared as everything from delicate sashimi to bold grilled and smoked dishes.

The reaction to the competition and to the Loch Duart Salmon that chefs and restaurants cooked with was enthusiastic. Responses included: “This is the best Atlantic salmon I have ever tasted” and “The streets are on fire with Loch Duart!”

Chefs selected to participate in the final contest will receive a free sample of Loch Duart Salmon to create their dish. The finalists’ dishes will be judged with winners chosen for the main prize. Runners up will each receive a Loch Duart branded fillet knife from Meglio. A panel of judges will review entries with the winners being announced on November 12th.
